Below Jerusalem, at Motza, they gather tall willow branches; they come and stand them at the sides of the altar, their tops bent over it, and sound teki'a, teru'a, teki'a — every day of the seven days of the festival. Eleven amot tall, they overhang the altar by one ama: so they are set on the yesod, not on the ground.
