On top, by the southwest horn, two silver bowls for the libations, side by side: the western one for water, the eastern one for wine. Each is pierced with a narrow spout, the water's narrower than the wine's, so that both empty at the same time. The liquid flows onto the altar and runs down through a hole to the shitin.

Project decisionAdopted: silver. Rejected: according to R. Yehudah they were of lime, blackened by the wine (Sukkah 4:9). Choices of the tour: their size, their profile and the direction of the spouts.
