The blood of the tamid, received in the mizrak at the slaughter, is carried to the north-east corner of the altar, then to the south-west corner: two applications “that are four,” each touching two faces of the altar. The rest of the blood is poured on the southern yesod. The free visit and the tamid tour place this kohen at the north-east corner, the mizrak in both hands.
