While they slaughter and offer, the Levites read the Hallel; if they finish, they repeat it, and a third time if need be — which never happened. At each reading the trumpets sound three times: teki'a, teru'a, teki'a; the pesach has no libation, at which one usually sounds, so one sounds at the slaughter. The flute plays before the altar.
